Law Day Events
Wisconsin
Milwaukee Bar Association is Celebrating Law Day.
Saturday, April 26th: "Earn Your Legal Badge"
Boy Scouts from all over Milwaukee will be meeting at the Milwaukee Bar Association to celebrate Law Day. The Scouts will learn how to become an attorney, what an attorney actually does, and participate in a mock trial!
Thursday, May 1st: "School-wide Law Day at Washington High School"
Washington High School will be putting on events all day long to celebrate Law Day. This will include a mock trial, presentations on court room etiquette, and attorneys telling their funniest stories about experiences they had in the court room!
Friday, May 2nd: "Call in and ask a Lawyer"
Fox 6 and the Milwaukee Bar Association are partnering again to bring back the widely successful lawyer phone bank which showcases ten attorneys on two newscasts (the 5 p.m. and the 10 p.m.) taking you legal calls. There will also be a live web chat on the Fox 6 website where you can post a question and have an attorney post a response immediately!
Saturday, May 3rd: "Free Legal Clinics"
Attorneys will be gathering at 4 libraries across the city of Milwaukee (Central, Forest Home, Center, and Villard Libraries) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to meet with you about your legal situation. Speak with an attorney for free in person!
