The ABA Rule of Law Initiative is a public service project of the American Bar Association dedicated to promoting rule of law around the world. The ABA Rule of Law Initiative believes that rule of law promotion is the most effective long-term antidote to the pressing problems facing the world community today, including poverty, economic stagnation, and conflict.

ABA ROLI Sponsors U.S. Study Tour for Georgian JudgesIn late October and early November, the ABA Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) sponsored a study tour to Boston, Massachusetts, and Providence, Rhode Island, for a Georgian judicial delegation. The study group consisted of 10 judges and magistrates, along with two ABA ROLI staff attorneys and the legal assistant to Georgia’s chief justice. Read more »» |

Alternative Dispute Resolution Work Continues in LiberiaAs part of its efforts to promote awareness of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Liberia, the ABA Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) is undertaking a variety of activities to address the country’s needs.
